虎跳峡  Tiger Leaping Gorge                                                              Yunnan
Deeper than the Grand Canyon, Tiger Leaping Gorge got its name from the story of a hunter, who hundreds of years ago chased a tiger deep into the gorge. When the hunter cornered the tiger along a cliff in the gorge, the tiger made a great leap off the cliff to a boulder in the center of a large rapids and escaped to the other side.
